In November 1947, DeBoer Chevrolet was opened and franchised with John W. DeBoer as owner and operator. John W. DeBoer operated the dealership until 1970. At that time, his sons, Robert (Bob) J. DeBoer and Clyde J. DeBoer purchased the franchise from him. In May of 2004 and November of 2005, the business was transferred from Clyde and Bob DeBoer, to Stewart Kreun, and Jerry Evink. In July of 2016 Stewart Kreun purchased the remaining share of the business from Jerry Evink.
